The doors to one of the world's largest trade shows at the Messe Frankfurt prepare to be flung open tomorrow the major players in Hall 11 prepare to showcase the latest advances they've made in additive manufacturing and 3D printing technologies.
One of those major players is EnvisionTEC and on the opening day at 9.30am Euromold 2014 attendees are invited to the unveiling of the Xtreme 3SP at EnvisionTEC's booth (STAND: C140). The highly anticipated release of the Xtreme 3SP adds an additional option to EnvisionTEC's large frame 3D printing line. Following up the success of the Xede 3SP, which was released at EuroMold 2013, the Xtreme 3SP provides for the fast 3D printing of large, high detail models with the precision and quality surface finish that EnvisionTEC is known for.
EnvisionTEC will also be demonstrating their Perfactory 3.0 software in the booth. This new release of their software boasts a variety of new features as well as updates to increase usability and functionality. The addition of an automatic support generation feature, a new part orientation gimbal, and new memory saving capabilities enable this new version of the Perfactory software to provide the perfect addition to all of EnvisionTEC's 3D printers.
Multiple new materials spanning EnvisionTEC's technologies round out the new products being shown at EuroMold. For the industrial and design markets, ABS Flex, ABS Tough, and Superflex provide a range of tough materials designed to produce prototypes of items in categories such as automotive and consumer goods as well as production-quality end use parts. These materials are available in a variety of formulations for 3SP, Perfactory and Micro technologies from EnvisionTEC. Also launching at EuroMold are two new Perfactory materials, RC70 and RC90. Created for the Perfactory line of 3D printers, both RC70 and RC90 are nanofilled materials whose smooth surface finish and high detail make them ideal for silicone moulding. RC90 is highly recommended for jewelry, while RC70 is perfect for ornamental jjewellery toys and animation and high-precision housings. The final new material to be shown at EuroMold will be Ortho Tough 3SP, a high speed material designed for the production of high quality orthodontic models on the ULTRA 3SP Ortho 3D printer from EnvisionTEC.
Al Siblani, CEO of EnvisionTEC, said "We are pleased to bring our newest solutions to share at EuroMold. EnvisionTEC has been working hard to provide substantial additions to our lineup that will greatly improve our customers' 3D printing capabilities and follow through with our value proposition of functionality and high surface quality without sacrificing speed".
