During a conversation with EnvisionTEC's Chief Operating Officer, John Hartner, at AMUG 2016 earlier this week, TCT was told to watch out for a host of exciting announcements from one of the industry's leading professional-grade machines. One we can discuss and got to see in person was the new PolyPro MAX 3SP material.
The newest 3SP material is a tough and flexible photopolymer representation of polypropylene and is perfect for a host of applications especially the likes of snap and fit parts and living hinges, which require a high-level of resilience to repeated use.
"We're always thinking about the next best thing for the 3D print industry," said John Hartner. "The development of PolyPro MAX 3SP provides an exciting new solution that is well suited for a wide variety of engineering applications. Working together with our engineering and design team, we have seen highly successful results with PolyPro MAX 3SP."
The material is recommended for use with a wide range of EnivisonTEC machinery including;ULTRA 3SP, Xede 3SP , Xtreme 3SP, Xtreme Hi-Res 3SP and Vector 3SP
The news about the new material follows hot on the heels of the news that DSM Somos and EnivisonTEC have been collaborating towards the development of new materials, although this PolyPro MAX 3SP is not one of those.
