Global 3D will support distribution of Sigma and Sigmax 3D printers to Polish market
Barcelona-based 3D printer manufacturer BCN3D has announced Global 3D will now support distribution of its Sigma and Sigmax 3D printers to the Polish market.
The Nysa-based 3D printer distributor will deliver BCN3D’s hardware, materials and accessories to universities and businesses throughout the region where it already represents a number of technologies from vendors such as Zortrax, Raise3D, Ultimaker and Sinterit, amongst others.
Launched last year, the BCN3D Sigma and Sigmax R19 3D printers feature a dual-extrusion system called IDEX (Independent Dual Extruder) which provides users with multi-material printing and two productive modes: mirror and duplication. These modes allow identical or symmetrical models to be printed simultaneously, resulting in double the production capacity.

Earlier this year BCN3D announced it had officially spun out of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) having raised 3 million USD through seed funding. BCN3D says it has already sold more than 5,000 of its systems to a number of high profile customers such as BMW and NASA.
