London is set to become home to the world's largest 3D printing store this month.
According to iMakr, the outlet is based in Farringdon, in the heart of London's designer district near to Silicon Roundabout and the official opening will take place on the evening of April 30th.
The store - which has a floor area of 2500 sq ft spread over two levels - will showcase the latest in 3D printer technology, stocking a large range of personal 3D printers from major US, European and Asia manufacturers.
The iMakr store will also boast the very latest in 3D printing technology, 3D scanners, 3D-printed products, supplies and accessories.
Moreover, the iMakr store will host regular events and stage demonstrations and workshops for those interested in learning more about the revolutionary technology.
Founder and CEO of iMakr Sylvain Preumont stated: "3D printing is all about physical machines making physical things. People need a physical store to see, touch, feel and engage with the technology. That's what the iMakr store is all about."
With 3D printers available on the market now for less than £2,000, it is possible for people to design and create objects in their own homes. The experienced and friendly iMakr staff will leave no stone unturned in guiding the growing community of creative Makers and Designers in their search for the right products to suit their needs.
