aCADemy Challenge
Engineers out there who boast about their proficiency can now put their money where their mouth is, as Majenta PLM has launched the new aCADemy Challenge that will put their skills to the test.
Majenta - the UK's leading Siemens PLM Software Solution Provider and only Platinum Partner in the UK - has unveiled its latest creation, which aims to be a bit of fun for engineers (and anybody else for that matter) to show their colleagues what they've got.
Made up of quick brainteasers that are a perfect coffee break distraction, the conundrums have been compiled to put users' speed to the test.
The aCADemy Challenge is centred around the notion that personal speed and software speed is becoming more and more important to engineering project work.
The TCT Magazine editorial office even had a go and, even though we had fun doing it, none of us managed to escape the Captain Conservative time bracket - the slowest you can get in the game.
Nevertheless, we have it on good authority that the fastest engineers who complete the game within the top time limit can be christened Lightening Bolts, while the next level down is Speed Machine, followed by the second-from-slowest time bracket of Average Joe.
So have a go if you think you're hard enough and challenge your colleagues at http://www.engineering-game.co.uk/majenta.
