MakerBot is adding 50 people to its growing workforce in a massive recruitment drive.
MakerBot's expansion has picked up speed as the company is increasing its workforce through a massive recruitment event.
The Brooklyn-headquartered firm focuses on bringing 3D printing to the masses and as global uptake of the technology blossoms - both by individuals and businesses - MakerBot has seen the opportunity to grow.
The company - which owns 3D design sharing network Thingiverse - has described the past year as "explosive" and has opened up 35 different roles for more than 50 people from manufacturing, to retail, to senior engineering.
MakerBot's recruitment event will be this Friday (March 15th) and the firm is inviting anybody who is interested in the roles advertised to apply, even if they are not a perfect fit.
If the company likes what they see, candidates will be invited to attend a "speed-dating" style interview with a number of different managers.
The business stated: "2013 will be a huge year for MakerBot and we need the best talent we can find to join this motivated and accomplished team."
