Matter and Form
Matter and Form is preparing to start shipping its 3D scanner, with the hardware due to arrive at keen early customers' homes, offices and secret laboratories any day now.
After making their big break onto the 3D technology scene at this January's hugely popular International CES 2014 in the inaugural TCT + Personalize-sponsored 3D Printing TechZone, the Canadian start-up has had an industrious year so far and has just returned from CE Week in New York City, where it exhibited alongside fellow 3D printing innovators Pirate3D and ROBO 3D Printer.
Matter and Form announced news of its preparations to start shipping in June on the company's blog, revealing that Cortex-Design has played a part in overseeing the final production and quality assurance for the business.
The team blogged: "Great news from our production facility! We are right on track with the scanners being shipped out of our assembly facility at the beginning of July. We have hundreds of scanners currently piling up at the assembly plant. I can't thank you enough for all your patience and we can't wait to start shipping them to you. Amazing!"
Matter and Form will be making its first appearance at TCT Show this autumn and will be presenting in the Inspection and Metrology technical seminar.
