The Mcor IRISMcor has announced that it has appointed Macchingraf as its Italian reselling partner.
The manufacturer of the only range of desktop paper 3D printers in the world announced this week (April 3rd) that the Milan-headquartered business is its new channel partner, based on the agreement the European business will sell Mcor's range of 3D printers in the southern European country.
Macchingraf is part of the international Staples group. The company heralds itself as being a distributor of brands of excellence in the industry, with affiliations with big names including Kodak, Fujifilm, Gallus, Heidelberg and Flint Group Flexographic.
Macchingraf provides support for its customers via its range of integrated solutions for the industry and its Managing Director Alberto Mazzoleni believes its partnership with Mcor and its solutions for 3D printing applications "fits perfectly" with its approach.
"We are leading suppliers in the graphics industry and we believe that adding the Mcor range of products will enable us to become leaders in the 3D printing industry," stated Mr Mazzoleni.
"We are also excited about Mcor's unique full colour 3D printing solution, the Mcor IRIS, and see many applications for this product in our existing and new markets," he added.
Chief Executive Officer of Mcor Technologies Dr Conor MacCormack remarked: "We are delighted to add Macchingraf as our newest channel partner. We are developing a growing portfolio of products to distribute and now it is about developing the right channel to support that. The business opportunity is attractive for our partners as we have a unique product offering."
Macchingraff joins an expanding group of companies that are taking advantage of Mcor's recent partner initiative.
As a result of this scheme, Mcor has enjoyed a period of strong growth in its channel, with its partner number increasing by 950 per cent from July 2012 and, as a result, its sales growth is 544 per cent for the same period.
Mcor continues to seek channel partners around the world and has aggressive growth plans for the coming months.
