European distributor of CAD/CAM software solutions, MecSoft Europe GmbH, has announced that VisualCAM for SolidWorks has received certification to run inside the new release of SolidWorks software.
Dassault Systemes announced the latest version of the software back in October with a range of new features to improve 3D design productivity, work flow and operating costs. Integrating VisualCAM into the software will help designers to design parts quickly.
VisualCAM for SolidWorks is a plug-in to the SolidWorks CAD system and includes two CAM modules known as VisualCAM-MILL for SolidWorks and VisualCAM-TURN for SolidWorks.
