Nikon Metrology will open its doors for a special one-day event in Derby this month to showcase its innovative CMM-Manager software designed for all CMMs.
Live demonstrations will provide real insight into the unique features of the intuitive inspection software and experts will discuss how, with the use of the correct inspection software, users can accomplish more with increased productivity, which in turn will improve margins and reduce rejects.

Designed for both manual and CNC coordinate measuring machines, CMM-Manager includes an object-oriented interface allowing easy program creation without the need for complex text programming language. It is also compatible with third party CMM’s and Arms or with Nikon’s range of inspection equipment including the MCAx portable arm and ALTERA CMM range, along with Renishaw PH20 tactile probe head.
The software platform has most recently been updated to run on the Nikon’s iNexiv. This new hardware is designed to meet demanding manufacturing requirements with automated measurements of mechanical parts, electronic mechanisms, dies, moulds and medical devices.
The CMM-Manager open day will be held at Nikon Metrology, Castle Donnington, Derby on 16 December 2016 and will include lunch and light refreshments. Attendees will also have the opportunity to bring along their own components for a free inspection consultation.
