North Star Imaging, a provider of 3D CT X-ray systems, is bringing two new products to market.
The X3000 is the latest addition to the company’s DR and CT X-ray equipment line, while robotiX is an add-on feature that was introduced at Control 2017 in Stuttgart.
An answer to customers who require a compact system with unique capabilities available on larger X-ray or CT systems, the X3000 was launched earlier this month. It helps users to select the best combination of X-ray source and X-ray detector beneficial to their needs. X3000 has a cabinet dimension of 103.5in x 51.9in x 79in and a maximum energy of 225kV. It also boasts a geometric image magnification of up to >2000X.
NCI says its specialists can also configure the user’s X3000 to suit their specific needs, whether they need to penetrate through several inches of think aluminium castings or focus on a thing gold bond wire.
Meanwhile, robotiX can be incorporated into standard and existing NSI X-ray & Computed Tomography (CT) systems for automatic part loading and unloading.
Using a simple interface, users have the ability to easily create new robotic motion control programs. These programs allow for reusable safe zone sub-routines that speed up the programming process to ensure the user’s NSI X-ray or CT system is up and running quickly when programming new parts for loading/ unloading.
robotiX seamlessly integrates with NSI’s efX software to acquire, process and archive images with a user-friendly interface. It’s safety area scanner removes the need for added area protection and keeps the workplace secure by disabling the system if an object or person enters the predefined operating perimeter.
