Key to the maintenance of these standards is a supply chain with the facility to deliver high quality parts at call-off rates commensurate with the schedules demanded by Overfinch. Rapitypes is proud to have been selected to supply premium parts and modified components for both interior and exterior applications in the new range of vehicles and to offer up new processes for the further enhancement of quality in manufacture.
For the new Sport GTS and Supersport, the original RR steering wheel is completely stripped and re-manufactured using high performance polymers (for a superior grip and feel beneath the bespoke leather covering) together with carbon fiber and metal plated embellishers for that personal touch.
Rapitypes modified the CAD data and created bespoke tooling for this assignment prior to supplying freshly moulded PU rims, grip area mouldings and satin chrome plated lower trims complete with the Overfinch logo etched to the centre. Parts are supplied in batches of twenty units per month.
