Polhemus
Hot off the PR wires...
Polhemus, the privately held, motion measurement technology company, have announced a change in ownership.
Polhemus President, Skip Rodgers, became co-owner on December 31,2012. as a result of purchasing shares from former co-owner, Ken Jedrzejewski, prompted by Jedrzejewski's announcement to retire. Jedrzejewski leaves behind 35 years of service to Polhemus, with over ten years as a company owner. Al Rodgers remains as co-owner and maintains his role as CEO.
The shift in ownership reportedly brings no change in business focus. Polhemus will continue with its current scope of business, focusing on military, research & technology, and health care applications. The company will continue to operate out of its headquarters in Colchester, Vermont.
Rodgers issued a statement after the agreement was finalized. "Polhemus is positioned well for future success; the diversity of our markets gives Polhemus a broad spectrum of opportunities for continued revenue growth. As with the last ten years, continuing as a privately held company gives us a great advantage--to remain adaptable and react quickly to the market. Al and I are proud to be leading such a great company."
