PrintParts.com offers 3D printing on-demand for prototypes and production-grade parts.
A New-York based 3D printing company has launched its online additive manufacturing (AM) service for on-demand prototypes and production-grade parts.
Print Parts offers a range of AM capabilities including stereolithography (SLA) and plastic extrusion-based technologies from leading machine manufacturers such as Markforged and Formlabs.
The company is believed to be one of the first service providers to offer composite parts using Markforged's industrial systems, enabling customers to print with a range of engineering-grade and fibre-reinforced materials including nylon, carbon fibre, Kevlar and Onyx, a high-strength nylon filament featuring chopped carbon fibre. Parts printed with fibreglass reinforcement are said to make parts 11 times more rigid than those printed in ABS and 26 times more rigid than nylon.
With its SLA service, Print Parts provides fine details and injection mould-quality surface finish in a range of durable, flexible, high-temperature and castable materials.
Robert Haleluk, Founder of Print Parts commented: “Print Parts. That’s what we do. Our team creates functional prototypes, high quality concepts, and performance parts to help customers take on mission critical projects with confidence. We love what we do and put passion into every part we print.”
The company says it is able to produce parts in various quantities from one-offs to one-million-part production runs. It also offers end-to-end design to manufacturing services covering concept generation, industrial design, consulting and technology specific feedback.
PrintParts.com is now live and offering a 25% discount on orders during its first month of operation. Users can upload their part files securely, choose their desired process and material for each part, and receive an instant quote. Print Parts will then manufacture and ship parts directly to end-customers.
