3D printing company, Quant 3D is set to present its new Q1000 industrial 3D printer next month at the RAPID 3D Event in Long Beach, California.
Showcasing itself for the very first time at the Beijing Tiertime booth (#1038) in the Long Beach Convention Centre on May 18-21, the machine promises high performance, cost effective 3D printing for the industrial and large commercial markets.
The Q1000 features an intuitive touch screen graphic user interface (GUI), large build volume, heated enclosure and dual extruders for more efficient production. Sporting a build volume of 350 x 350 x 350 mm and a layer resolution of 0.1 mm, the Q1000 delivers advanced automated capabilities which result in high throughput, accuracy, reliability and repeatability.
The machine is the latest product in the company’s growing line of 3D printers which already includes the Q150 desktop 3D printer and Q200 hobbyist machine. The company also sells its own range of value and premium quality ABS and PLA filaments in a range of colours, available through its online store.
A subsidiary of global manufacturing company OK International, a name which has been at the forefront of the manufacture of tools and equipment for the electronics market for just under 70 years, Quant 3D was formed from a strong background in engineering expertise in heating and fluid dispensing technology. With such a rich history in manufacturing development, the company believes it is in a good position to take industrial 3D printing "to the next level".
Visitors to RAPID next month will be able to get a first hand look at the new machine.
