Wuhan is the location of Renishaw's 11th China office.Renishaw is making further in-roads into China, as the company has announced it has opened its 11th office in the world's number-two economy.
The global engineering technologies company stated today (April 2nd) that its newest liaison office in the country is in Wuhan.
The facility is located within a state-level high-technology industrial development zone in the south-east of Wuhan, which is the capital city of Hubei province.
Renishaw's establishment of the Wuhan base focuses on the importance of China's central region to the additive manufacturing company from a strategic point of view.
Managing Director of Renishaw (Shanghai) Trading Co Ltd Paul Gallagher commented: "Our goal is to offer enhanced commercial and technical support to customers throughout China's rapidly growing manufacturing industries.
"The setup of the Wuhan liaison office gives us the opportunity to offer our customers in the central region better service and support as well as show them how Renishaw products can help them improve their quality and their productivity."
The Wuhan facility is located within a development zone that is concentrated on high-tech enterprises for modern equipment manufacturing, such as aviation, energy, infrastructure and industrial measurement.
As a world leader in metrology and process control, Renishaw is committed to maintaining stability and sustainable growth with its customers.
Renishaw opened its first China office in Beijing in 2004 and the company now employs more than 100 staff in the Asian superpower, which is tipped to become a powerful 3D printing player in the years to come.
The establishment of the Wuhan office is another expansion in this part of China, as the company opened liaison offices in both Chengdu and Chongqing last year.
