Sciaky, world leader in large scale, high volume metal additive manufacturing solutions is to chair to 2014 Additive Aerospace Summit in Los Angeles next month.
As a key provider of additive manufacturing to the aerospace and defence industries, the company will sponsor and chair the second summit focused on the influence of the technology on the aerospace industry.
The event will include four sessions that will discuss the technical challenges, adoption processes, standards and qualifications and growth strategies for companies in both the aerospace and 3D printing sectors. Executives from Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, NASA and more will feature as speakers.
Sciaky’s pioneeting Eectron Beam Additive Manufacturing process has been a key driver in many high profile research and development applications for the Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, Lockheed Martin, DARPA and Boeing. EBAM technology significantly reduces time and costs of manufacturing large scale parts and prototypes in virtually any metal.
“Sciaky is proud to sponsor and chair the 2014 Additive Aerospace Summit,” said Mike Riesen, general manager of Sciaky, Inc. “Additive manufacturing and 3D printing is going to play a major role in the aerospace industry for the foreseeable future, and Sciaky is firmly committed to further EBAM innovation.”
The event takes place 3-6 November at the Downtown Los Angeles Doubletree Hilton.
