After a very successful 2014 smashing sales targets, SLM Solutions Group AG, leading provider of metal based additive manufacturing technology and systems, has expanded its North American subsidiary team, SLM Solutions NA, Inc., by welcoming a new executive vice president of North America.
Mark Hoefing, will join the North American division to support the company’s growth in the US market.
Hoefing brings with him an extensive background in the additive manufacturing market including 13 years at laser-based, non-contact metrology solutions provider and 3D scanning technology supplier, Perceptron Inc., where he vacates his most recent role as chief operating officer.
Hoefing gained extensive expertise and increasing responsibilities that spanned sales, marketing, field service, system engineering, project management, product development and manufacturing.
Almost 20 years prior to his experience at Perceptron, Hoefing held various positions at Rockwell Automation including sales, marketing and management roles. At SLM Solutions, Hoefing will be responsible for the company’s operational goals which recently expanded to a new office and tripled both their sales and service staff.
