SLM 125 HL
SLM Solutions is participating in the International Aviation and Space Show MAKS 2013 in Zhukovsky near Moscow from August 27th to September 1st.
The Luebeck-headquartered company will demonstrate its Selective Laser Melting System SLM 125 HL on the booth of the Federation of German Air and Space Industry (BDLI).
The German technology leader in the field of selective laser melting will represent additive manufacturing technologies for the aerospace industry, giving a history of the technology going back to 1999, at the Russian Aviation and Space Show.
As a partner of EADS Innovation Works, both the SLM systems and new materials are constantly being developed to fulfill ever-advancing requirements. The generative manufacturing systems give companies the opportunity to make their production more efficient and to use higher degrees of freedom in product development.
In Moscow, SLM Solutions will be showcasing the laser melting machine SLM 125 HL. The compact system SLM 125 HL produces quality metal components on the basis of three-dimensional CAD data. The operating system is designed for research and development, as well as for the production of smaller objects.
Hans J Ihde, Managing Director SLM Solutions, commented: "Russia is an important market for our equipment and systems. The Russian Federation has great potential as an economic region, especially for us as a medium-sized supplier and manufacturer."
Stefan Ritt, Export, Sales and Marketing Director for SLM Solutions, added: "The Russian government invested heavily in the modernisation and competitiveness of its aerospace industry. We are fully prepared to assist Russia in the implementation of its ambitious goals with efficient and high quality solutions for the production of prototypes, small series and individual serial products."
