Stanford Marsh will discuss 'The Future of Manufacturing Design'.
Stanford Marsh, reseller of Stratasys 3D printers, is to present a talk on the future of manufacturing hosted by Micro Concepts later this month.
The talk will be the focal point of an event which covers the entire spectrum of design from cloud applications, collaboration and 3D printing.
The seminar titled, 'The Future of Manufacturing Design' will discuss how manufacturing is embarking on a dynamic new phase. New trends will be debated in relation to the nature of production, such as new forms of modelling and additive manufacturing through to nanotechnologies and advanced robotics.
The event will show how modern manufacturing methods allow for more complex parts to be produced to an optimum level. Additive manufacturing brings several benefits and can be analysed to reduce costs, times and material. It also means that manufacturing can be done much more locally with the potential to change global markets.
Stanford Marsh will discuss how 3D printing is continuing to grow and offers new creative ways for implementing design ideas. During the presentation the company will give a brief insight into the technology itself and an overview as to how manufacturing companies are benefiting from 3D printing. They are also set to bring a Stratasys 3D printer along with them to give visitors a real insight into what the technology actually looks like.
The seminar is free to attend and will feature words from other influential leaders HP and Autodesk. The event will be a good opportunity for networking and finding out how the future of manufacturing looks to be shaped.
The event takes place on October 29th, 2014 at the Hauser Forum, Cambridge.
