Objet30 Pro
SYS Systems will showcase the Objet30 Pro at the pop-up event in March.
SYS Systems, the Stratasys UK Platinum Partner, is to host a free 3D printing ‘pop-up’ event at the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA) in London this March.
The MTA, overlooking Hyde Park, is the UK’s trade association for the suppliers of the country’s manufacturers. SYS, wanting to promote the adoption of 3D printing technology, is inviting product designers and manufacturers to the pop-up event between 10am and 5pm from Tuesday March 6th – Thursday March 8th.
Derbyshire-based SYS Systems supplies the full Stratasys 3D printing range, covering hardware, software and materials. It distributes these 3D printing offerings to such sectors as automotive, aerospace, pharmaceutical, healthcare and education. Customers include Speedo, McLaren Racing and Jaguar Land Rover.
Like them, SYS wants other designers and manufacturers to enjoy the benefits of harnessing 3D printing for rapid prototyping and production, to reduce the need for tooling and outsourcing, shorten lead times, reduce waste and save on time and money.
“Huge advancements have been made in 3D printing in recent years and more and more businesses are realising that it can hugely improve the way they operate,” said Rob Thompson, Sales Manager at SYS Systems. “However, there are many more out there who have not yet discovered its potential and we’re aiming to reach out through our informal pop-up event. It will operate on a drop-in basis, with several one-hour application seminars each day, and represents a perfect opportunity for people to find out from industry experts how the latest 3Dprinting technology might help them.”
Attendees will be able to see a Stratasys Objet30 Pro machine, a desktop system suitable for consumer goods prototyping. It supports eight various materials, including clear, high-temperature and simulated polypropylene. Application sessions will be conducted from 10.30am – 11.30am, 12.30pm – 1.30pm, and 2.30pm – 3.30pm each day.
SYS wants to welcome visitors no matter how big or small, to offer advice on how 3D printing can be best implemented for their needs and wants.
“It doesn’t matter whether you’re a small studio needing to visualise and hone your next design or a multi-national manufacturer tasked with perfecting your next product launch, come along to the pop-up show and challenge us,” Thompson added. “Our mission is to find a solution that works for you.”
