Berlin-based 3D printing start-up trinckle 3D has partnered up with delivery service TNT Germany to support the implementation of 3D printing technology across the region.
trinckle 3D has been providing 3D printing software and online 3D printing services for several years and now this partnership will enable them to deliver products to customers via a dedicated delivery service. trinckle 3D’s bureau service currently delivers all over Europe and through its specialised software and production line offers first time users of 3D printing, a straightforward and professional solution for their manufacturing needs.
TNT’s producy manager for Value Added Services, Martin Winand, commented: “Due to 3D printing, the transportation needs and demands of our customers will change without any doubt in the next years. We want to shape these process adjustments actively. For this purpose we have trinckle 3D with us now – a professional partner with valuable knowledge in 3D printing technology and production.”
trinckle 3D CEO, Florian Reiche, added: “Together with a top company like TNT, we can push the potential of 3D printing to higher levels. Above all, the intended communication between numerous companies is a chance for everyone involved to develop and implement profitable solutions.”
Similar partnerships have already been struck up by other 3D print services across the globe offering dedicated distribution and delivery services to particular regions. Last year, London 3D print provider iMakr teamed with Royal Mail to trail a new 3D print delivery service from its London store and over in the U.S., UPS installed a Stratasys uPrint 3D printer into nearly 100 locations to offer an in-store 3D printing service to small businesses.
