The da Vinci 1.0 3D printer
XYZprinting, developer of low cost 3D printer The da Vinci 1.0, has announced that its da Vinci 1.0 AiO (All–in-one) 3D printer plus scanner is now shipping in the U.S. market, making it the world's first-to-market combo unit available for purchase.
With a relatively low price tag of just $799, the combo unit is aimed at consumer and small and medium business level customers.
"With 3D printing continuing to gain traction across a variety of markets, including education, design, fashion, medical and automotive, the possibilities are just beginning to be realized," said Simon Shen, CEO of XYZprinting. "The da Vinci 1.0 AiO was designed with quality and affordability in mind, to enable the continued discovery of applications and usages for 3D printing."
The built in asymmetric laser sensors combined with a turntable provide industrial grade 0.05mm scan resolution in just five minutes with a simple click and print service. Any scanned item can be instantly saved as a design so it can be replicated or shared for future use. The scanner also features a unique scanning algorithm Speedy Scan which automatically fills in gaps with appropriate texture and curves for smoother printing results.
Other features include CIO, CTO and developer resources and a cloud database filled with thousands of open 3D models.
The printer itself uses FFF technology and can print items at 7.8”x7.8”x7.8”. It shares the same innovative and user-friendly features of XYZprinting's current award-winning and top-selling printers, such as a smart filament cartridge system, nozzle cleaning, and one-year limited warranty at no cost.
Da Vinci 1.0 AiO can be purchased today on NewEgg.com and Amazon.
