Visitors to EuroMold 2014 can get a first look at ZMorph’s brand new generation of 3D printer as the company launches the ZMorph 2.0 S in Frankfurt.
As the manufacturer of one of the most diverse desktop 3D printers on the market, ZMorph has developed its printer even further by offering 11 interchangeable toolheads to allow the user to print in a range of materials including; PLA, ABS, nylon, ceramics, wood, polycarbonate, chocolate and cake – yes cake – engraving, laser cutting and 5-axis milling, giving designers more freedom than ever.
The entire machine has been improved to make the ZMorph into a completely universal 3D printer. With increased durability and precision, the new Z-axis drive for greater accuracy and improved print speeds of up to 120mm per second, the ZMorph 2.0 S is the most user friendly and efficient machine to come from the manufacturer yet.

With the company noting the importance of 3D printing applications from food to jewellery and eventually organs, it will be interesting to see what other options the ZMorph will feature in the next few years.
