Zortrax launches latest machine with biggest build volume yet.
Zortrax has launched its latest 3D printer, the M300, featuring new prototyping capabilities and its biggest print volume yet.
Based on its predecessor the smaller M200, the new machine features a build space of 300 x 300 x 300 mm and a host of enhancements including larger material spools with usage recognition and Side Covers which protect the print and help to maintain a constant temperature.
Based on Zortrax’s deposition technology, the desktop M300 prints at a resolution between 90-400 microns in a range if four proprietary materials. These include: Z-ULTRAT, a versatile material with similar characteristics to injection moulding; Z-HIPS, designed to deliver a smooth, matte finish; Z-GLASS, a semi-transparent material designed for prototyping glass or transparent features; and Z-PETG, a resilient, sturdy material that’s resistant to certain chemical conditions

They've often indicated the need for a device that is as accurate and reliable as our previous M200 3D printer, but which would allow them to create larger, professional prototypes as a whole - without the necessity of splitting up a project into a series of smaller components,” Rafał Tomasiak, founder and CEO of Zortrax, commented. The M300 comes equipped with a spool of Z-ULTRAT material, Z-SUITE software and starter kit containing accessories, safety glasses, gloves and Side Covers.
