Chris Elsworthy talks 3D printing with Robox Root and Tree

CEO and creator of Robox, Chris Elsworthy presented the desktop 3D printer manufacturers latest Robox innovations at TCT Show.

UK-based 3D printer manufacturer, CEL Robox, is known for its desktop, easy-to-use Robox 3D printers. With simplicity as a key selling point, the popular machines have found a home in many schools across the country thanks to its innovative safety features and quick-start software. The company were on hand at TCT Show last week to show off some new tools including a dual material robox, and root and tree system.

The new root and three structure, with the device controlling the machines being the root and the tree being the structure of printers branching out from that, allows places like offices, schools and libraries to power several machines simultaneously from the one machine.

We spoke to Chris Elsworthy, founder and CEO of Robox, about these latest products and how he believes the industry is evolving.

Talking about the current state of the industry, Chris commented: “I think the chat about 3D printing has got to the end user, people are coming here to look and buy machines."
