EnvisionTEC 3D printing solutions use three technologies, DLP, 3SP™ and 3D-Bioplotter®. EnvisionTEC’s DLP-based technology uses a projector with a lamp as its light source and the DMD produces a high resolution bitmap that is projected onto photocurable resin voxel by voxel. EnvisionTEC’s 3SP™ technology uses a multi-cavity laser diode with an orthogonal mirror, spinning drum, and precision optics to scan the surface of the photopolymer. EnvisionTEC’s 3D-Bioplotter® 3D printing technique may be described as the deposition of multiple materials in three dimensions using pressure.
