Working with over 500 clients, including several large aerospace businesses, the opportunity of additive manufacturing became clear, as it was being adopted by more and more companies.
However, we identified operational difficulties in the market, particularly around the automation of powder traceability, and standardisation for repeatability throughout the supply chain. Working closely with Airbus UK, we have been able to develop our DNAam system to tackle these issues.
The DNAam system integrates complex workflow and operations, such as build planning, comprehensive inventory management and the critical chemical analysis of powder batches and test pieces. Current clients have reported improved digitalisation of complex additive manufacturing production processes; which has delivered improved key resource and plant efficiencies, enabling them to scale up additive manufacturing processes throughout the global aerospace supply chain.
