David Powell, Quality Manager at Euromould Ltd using the Equator to gauge parts.
Renishaw will highlight its position as one of the UK's leading additive manufacturing names at this years TCT Show + Personalize.
As the only manufacturer of a metal based additive manufacturing machine in the country the company will have a range of products on display including the new PlusPac upgrade for its AM250 additive manufacturing machine.
PlusPac is an add on kit that provides faster process rates and cleaner process environments for the machine. With updates such as new Optical Control Software, a high capacity filtration system and a gas knife lens window protection system, the user will have better control of the build process and the ability to produce better parts faster.
Visitors will also get to see Renishaw’s vacuum casting systems which enable the manufacture of high quality, colour matched parts in glass filled nylon. With gas and water-tight components that are chemically resistant the result is high performance polymer components in nylon PA6 which can be used in a range of demanding applications.
Of course, machined components need measurement and Renishaw will also bring its Equator versatile gauging system to the show. The device works on the principle of comparative gauging and allows users to swap between parts with ‘push button’ simplicity which significantly increases user productivity.
Renishaw will feature at the TCT Show stand F22 from 30th September to 2nd October. Joining almost 50 different additive manufacturing machine manufacturers, Renishaw will make up a host of the most compact desktop 3D printers and complex industrial additive manufacturing systems on display to 10,000 visitors across three days.
