Jason Rolland, Vice President of Materials at Carbon talks to TCT at RAPID in Orlando about the Silicon Valley startup's first commercial 3D printing system, the M1 and impressive range of high-performance resins including everything from soft and durable elastomers to high-temperature resins suitable for automotive applications.
Carbon unveiled its first commercial 3D printing using CLIP (Continuous Liquid Interface Production) product back at AMUG last month. After impressing the industry with speeds up to 100 times faster than current technologies, the company is now using its expertise in materials science to demonstrate how 3D printing can be used to manufacture high-quality, final use parts from a range of different resins.
