MakerGear's new M3 Independent Dual Rev. 1 Printer.
Desktop 3D printer manufacturer, MakerGear will unveil two new products at RAPID + TCT this week including a new machine and cloud software.
A larger upgrade on the company's dual-extruder M3 printer, the new M3 Independent Dual Rev. 1 Printer will be on display in booth #310 where attendees will have the opportunity to get their hands on the new system, with enclosure, at a special show rate.
Key features include a touch probe that improves the bed-levelling process and checks the print surface to generate a mesh using nine data points which compensate for any unavoidable variations in the flatness of the print bed. The machine also comes with an optional enclosure to help keep a consistent print environment and temperature whilst reducing noise and venting printing odours.
As with all previous M3 machines, the new M3-ID Rev. 1 features wifi connectivity, wireless control, an integrated user interface, and high-temperature V4 hot ends that can handle a wide variety of materials.
"Building on the success of our popular M3 3D printer, we're excited to premiere the new M3-ID Rev. 1 at RAPID this week," said Rick Pollack, CEO, MakerGear. "Our new features improve on an already world-class printer, which provides our customers with the tools to accomplish the most advanced prototyping and production jobs with an unparalleled degree of precision and reliability."
In addition, MakerGear will also demonstrate the new MakerGear Cloud software, designed to maximise the productivity of a 3D printer fleet through printer cluster mapping and print queuing, while protecting users' IP. Users can build and customise printer clusters to operate high-volume jobs within their facility where they also benefit from advanced administrative control that permits users to configure privileges by location, role, or account type.
