3D Printing Orthotic Devices for Sport

Poppy Farrugia is an MSc Product Design Student at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Her current work explores the ways in which 3D printing can be applied in developing affordable, personalised wearable sport-specific orthotic devices that can aid an individual’s recovery following an accident or illness. We invited Poppy to speak at TCT Show + Personalize 2015 about the processes involved and the life-changing potential of the end product.
