3D Systems will showcase its full catalogue of digital thread solutions for 3D printing and software at formnext powered by tct.
The 3D printing forerunner will be demonstrating how its 3D technologies provide a seamless design-to-manufacturing workflow for professionals and businesses across industries. Among the products and capabilities on display will be the ProJet 4500, ProJet 5500X and the CubePro desktop 3D printer. Visitors to the show will be able to witness first-hand the accuracy and detail of the ProX 100 Direct Metal Printer as it creates highly complex metal parts live on the show floor.
3D Systems’ will show how its integrated solutions can enhance, complement or replace traditional manufacturing methods through 3D scanning, design, production and inspection. Visitors will be able to learn how direct metal 3D printing with the ProX 100 can create chemically pure, fully dense metal parts for dental, automotive and aerospace applications. Multi-material composite 3D printing will be exhibited with the ProJet 5500X and high-performance desktop 3D printing capabilities will be shown using the CubePro 3D printer.
Engineering software and hardware tools for the digital thread for manufacturing will also be on display in the form of Geomagic Capture, Geomagic Design X 2016, Geomagic Freeform tools, GibbsCAM production machining software and CimatronE mold and tool design. Visitors will also be able to find out more about Quickparts on-demand parts service, providing advanced prototyping and manufacturing solutions through cloud-based fulfilment.
