ColorFabb intro
Dutch based plastics supplier Helian Polymers have been supplying biodegradable plastics and masterbatch (additive used for colouring plastics) to the industry for years, they’ve now announced a move into the consumer market with their 3D printing filament brand, ColorFabb.
ColorFabb’s have set their sights on becoming the number one filament destination for 3D printing enthusiasts with a huge array of colours produced under the highest quality control conditions. Currently the ever-increasing selection of PLA/PHA filaments stands at 23, including Olympic Gold and Chocolate Brown.
Although the filament is only available in 3mm there are plans afoot to produce 1.75mm filament. The filament is all created in-house and tested using an Ultimaker, it is currently available for worldwide delivery at a starting cost of €30 (£25, $38) a kilo.
