Following on from 3D printing in sliver, and gold-plating 3d printed stainless steel designs, i.materialise gives you the opportunity to 3D print your creation bronze.
i.materialise are starting us off small, with a build size of 5 cm x 5 cm x 5 cm — small but plenty large enough to get creative, as deomstrated by some of the test pieces featured here, including the peculiarly titled 'Love Bone' 'Tiki Chess Queen' — a piece made in Tinkercad by user 'Whystler'.
Pricing will be pitched somewhere above that of Stainless Steel, currently priced at $35 for the first 5cm3, then $8 from 5cm3 to 40 cm3, and $7.5 above 40cm3. To get an exact quote you can send your design to i.materialise where it will be assessed and a quote sent back.
