Makerbot Countdown
If the FormLabs annoucement on the 26th of September is just too long a wait for your Internet-addled instant gratification-seeking mind to comprehend, how does 3 hours suit you? Still too long? Tough.*
Because in just a matter of hours Makerbot will lift the lid on some new things to make everyone go 'oooh'. In a slight deviation from the normal marketing MO, the Brooklyn-based maker maker took to the front cover of WIRED magazine with what looks like a new machine held by what is almost certainly a Bre Pettis.
This less than subtle teaser does at least give us some clues as to what the Botcave creatives have been incubating. Or, it could be a devilishly cunning plan to throw us off the scent before they announce that they're buying 3D Systems?
