Panther 3D Printer
New high precision, personal 3D printer for the home and office for under $1,000.
The guys that bought us the Portabee, a cheap entry-level 3D printer aimed at the mass market, have, this week, launched their latest model “Panther 3D Printer”.
In a departure from the Portabee’s low-price USP, the Panther aims to place itself at the higher end of the desktop 3D printers with a rigid aluminium & stainless steel frame, 0.025mm X&Y resolution and a build volume of 202mm (X) x 162mm (Y) x 157mm (Z) / 5.1 Litres.
The creator’s have been working on the Panther since launching the Portabee and say that the Panther “sets new standards.
“Our new 3D printer pushes the boundaries of accuracy and quality available in a personal machine, while keeping things within a reasonable price range.
3D printing is an extremely exciting industry that we see flourishing in the coming months and decades, and we are extremely proud to be playing a part.
Our Panther sets new standards, and we strive to advance the state of 3D printing. We believe it is our duty to help create a cooler future. “
There’s so many of these types of printers now that it is difficult to see who can take the biggest market share, but if the success of the Portabee is anything to go by then the Panther looks set to have a good old go.
