The doors to TCT Show 2019 are officially open and one of the biggest stands on the floor is welcoming visitors with a full view of the design-to-manufacturing value chain and a number of TCT show exclusives.
Europac 3D, a UK-based 3D technology solutions provider, is showcasing the latest 3D printing hardware from HP, Mimaki, DWS, Roboze and UnionTech and offering deals and bundles with delivery before the end of October, only available to TCT Show visitors.
The company is providing visitors an close-up look at Mimaki’s 3DUJ-533 printer which promises full-colour printing with over 10 million colours. In addition to vibrant figurines, a number of customer examples on the booth show how the technology is enabling production-like colour quality for products in the consumer space such as homewares.
Another key technology is DWS’s resin-based hardware. The Italian manufacturer’s large XPRO S machine allows users to print highly detailed end-use parts in up to 17 different materials from DWS’s in-house developed library. On the booth, Europac is exhibiting a black rubber-like material ideal for products such as footwear and industrial end-use parts. Alongside that, the company is offering the XFAB 3500 HD, a small, desktop orientated machine capable of printing smaller but just as detailed parts. For most products on the booth, including its range of Kreon and Solutionix scanning systems, Europac is giving buyers the opportunity to pick up one of these smaller DWS systems at no extra cost.
Speaking with Europac’s Director and Founder John Beckett, he said the company is trying to do things a little differently. He wants to get people thinking about the end-to-end value chain and bundle solutions together to make the technology attractive to users, particularly smaller engineering firms who may have previously been on the fence about 3D printing due to high machine costs.
Rounding out the line-up, Europac is also an official UK reseller for HP’s Multi Jet Fusion technology. On the booth, visitors can see its flagship 4200 system and lower cost 500 Series colour printer alongside a number of industrial parts. There’s also hardware from Roboze, another Italian 3D printer manufacturer focusing on high temperature materials such and visitors can see a range of automotive parts printed on the Roboze One+ 400 in PEEK. It’s a fairly niche solution but for companies looking to print in heavy duty materials, this lower cost system is an ideal solution for printing end-use parts. Finally, UnionTech’s sturdy, open source Pilot 450 completes the booth tour with a selection of incredibly high-quality parts printed in DSM resin.
