SYS Systems Stratasys TCT Show prototype
Herman Miller prototype Keyn chairs are created using the Stratasys Fortus 3D printer.
Stratasys platinum partner, SYS Systems is set to present an array of the company’s 3D printing technology from Stand D22 at TCT Show.
With live demonstrations, SYS experts will outline how Stratasys is aiming to shape the future of manufacturing.
SYS will showcase the new FDM 123 series of 3D printing machines, launched earlier this year at the annual SOLIDWORKS World event. It is made up of three compact platforms that use Fused Deposition Modelling to enable manufacturers to produce prototypes on-site. Another feature of SYS’ exhibit will be a Herman Miller prototype Keyn four-legged chair, printed with the Stratasys Fortus 3D printer. It will be presented alongside the finished product.

A Fortus 450mc will be showcased at SYS’ stand, as will a selection of PolyJet systems, such as the Objet500 Connex3 and Objet30 Pro. The Object 500 Connex3 advanced triple-jet platform allows the incorporation of dozens of colours into a build, making prototypes more detailed and a closer reflection of the final design. The Objet30 Pro has been more often harnessed for consumer goods prototypes, boasting the high accuracy and versatility of a high-end rapid prototyping machine, but in desktop size.
They will be showcased by SYS Systems, who handle much of the sales, installations, and support for the full range of Stratasys 3D printers across the UK and Ireland.
“TCT Show is the biggest 3D printing show of its kind in the UK and is a fantastic opportunity to see some of our most innovative Stratasys machines in action,” said Rob Thompson, SYS Systems Sales Manager. “We’d encourage people to visit our stand and talk to our experts. We’re confident that people will be amazed at the technology on display and even more impressed by its potential to improve their own business operations.”
