At one stage during TCT show I thought my phone was stuck on some kind of vibrate cycle, it was whilst I was chairing the afternoon’s sessions too so I couldn’t take the phone out of my pocket to see what the problem was. It turned out it wasn’t a Samsung Note about to explode in my pocket but the TCT twitter account going notification nuts.
Here’s how TCT Show 2016 unfolded told through the medium of tweets:

Doors officially opened at 9am and the crowds poured in
We spotted some interesting visitors
The opening keynote set the theme for the two days of conferencing, the theme being STANDING ROOM ONLY
The startup pitches went down a storm
... and the prize wasn't too shabby either
We had Carbon in the UK for the first time, they'll be back!
Filemon from 3D Hubs liked what he saw
As did Captain Jack...
Some of the printed displays were quite spectacular
People didn't want to leave
But in the end the doors had to close.... On to 2017.
