TCT Show floor
Over 10,000 professionals from 60 countries will attend TCT Show across three days.
In less than two weeks, the TCT Show 2018 show floor will be open to an anticipated 10,000 professionals keen to do business and learn what's new in the world of design-to-manufacturing. Attendees will be able to get a first look at the latest innovations across three days of exhibits and conferencing on 3D printing, materials, software and accompanying technologies in halls 3 and 3A of the NEC, Birmingham.
Often the under-appreciated step in that value chain, a number of exhibitors at this year’s TCT Show are gearing up to show how post-processing methods are fast becoming increasingly sophisticated and automated pieces of hardware, designed to streamline the additive manufacturing workflow.
Here are just a few of those auxiliary technologies you can expect to see on the show floor on 25-27th September.
Guyson to launch new ATEX Blast Cabinet systems (Stand S44)
Industrial finishing equipment manufacturer Guyson International will be showcasing their new Euroblast Ex range of blast systems. Designed for use with potentially explosive powders, particularly relevant in AM where the use of fine powders of materials such as aluminium, titanium and Inconel, can create potentially explosive atmospheres. The Euroblast Ex range features four sizes of blast cabinet, a cyclone reclamator and Guyson C600 dust collector. An optional rotating basket is available on select models.
Rősler debut RMO Trough Machine (Stand T42)
Rősler UK, a leader in the field of shot blasting and mass finishing, is inviting attendees to find out more about appropriate surface finishing equipment for the treatment of 3D printed and AM parts. The company specialises in surface finishing technology for post-processing of parts for the automotive, aerospace, medical, food processing and jewellery industries. New at the show this year will be the Rösler "plug and play" trough machine offering compact, mobile and versatile for finishing both plastic and metal AM parts. Additionally, we'll be showing a blast cabinet that's quickly becoming the industry standard for the post-printing blast cleaning of plastic parts
Volkmann to launch PowTReX vacuum conveying system (Stand S48)
Volkmann will be exhibiting its new PowTReX vacuum conveying system for the first time. The machine is designed for the safe powder transfer, recovery and extraction of AM materials from build chambers for re-use or storage. Utilising an ultra-sonic sieve, to screen product before being stored or conveyed back to the AM machine, and with options for inert gas re-circulation and oxygen monitoring (with inert gas purging) the PowTReX offers high levels of safety and security for the operator and the industry.
DyeMansion to showcase high-quality finishing for sintered polymer parts (Stand V36)
DyeMansion Family
Munich-based company DyeMansion designs and manufactures finishing systems that deliver precision colouring and high quality finishes for polymer selective laser sintered parts. Offering the most exact specifications, DyeMansion has quickly racked up more than four-hundred customers since winning the formnext Start-Up Challenge back in 2015, including global manufacturers in the consumer, healthcare and automotive sectors.
Prototype Projects to exhibit SLS dyeing and texturing capabilities (Stand W41)
Alongside DyeMansion, UK-based Prototype Projects will be showcasing its new capabilities in SLS dyeing and texturing. Prototype Projects can now dye SLS parts to virtually any required colour on a consistent and repeatable basis using DyeMansion's technology. Parts can be textured using a graining process, giving them the look of leather or other natural materials, offering a significant cost-saving over other techniques such as injection moulding.
Russel Finex brings TCT Award-nominated AMPro Sieve Station to show floor (Stand J36)
Russell Finex
Russell Finex AMPro Sieve Station
Russell Finex has over 80 years' experience as global powder handling specialists, working within the AM industry and major manufacturers to maintain high standards of design, usability and performance. Russell Finex will be showcasing its TCT Award-nominated Russell AMPro Sieve Station engineered to secure powder quality and recycle AM powders post-production.
