Big 3D printing survey h/p
3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing consultancy Econolyst is offering 3D printing fans the chance to WIN a 3D printer of their choice (up to the value of $2,500), by taking part in the ‘2013 3D Printing BIG survey’. What’s more, five runners up will also receive $250 worth of 3D printing materials.
The ‘2013 3D Printing BIG survey’ is open to people who already own a 3D printing machine and those who want one but haven’t yet made the jump into the 3D printing world. To enter the prize draw, entrants simply have to complete a short 10 to 15-minute online survey.
Phil Reeves of Econolyst explains the rationale behind the survey: “We have all seen the amazing things that people around the world are doing with entry level consumer 3D printing machines, and the level of media attention that 3DP is enjoying right now. However, as a fast growing industry, there is very little data available to help companies develop new machines, materials, software tools or printed products – the BIG survey should go some way to fill these gaps, so how better to engage users than with a great prize – A 3D Printer”.
