6K Additive has secured a 30-month powder supply contract with ADDMAN, an additive manufacturing service provider, worth up to $10.8m.

Under the terms of the agreement, 6K Additive will provide Nickel 718 alloy powder to support ADDMAN's service to the aerospace, defence, and energy sectors. The contract is set to earn 6K Additive at least $8.1m, with a further $2.7m potentially unlocked if demand develops.

The Agreement also establishes a structured revert buy-back program, creating a circular supply chain. Under the program, 6K Additive purchases revert powder from ADDMAN and processes it into new, high-purity powders via its proprietary UniMelt microwave plasma system.

“At ADDMAN, we push the boundaries of what’s possible in manufacturing, which requires partners like 6K Additive who are equally committed to excellence and innovation,” said Joe Calmese, CEO of ADDMAN. “Our relationship with 6K Additive strengthens our ability to deliver high-performance components for critical aerospace, defence, and energy applications while supporting a more efficient and sustainable approach to powder lifecycle management.”

“This agreement is a natural evolution of the long-standing relationship and trust between our two organisations,” added Frank Roberts, CEO and Managing Director of 6K Additive. “By transforming ADDMAN’s revert into high-performance metal powder, we’re demonstrating that upcycled feedstock can deliver the quality required for demanding additive manufacturing applications. Our process produces highly spherical powder that supports repeatable printing, improved part quality, and reliable mechanical performance. At the same time, we’re aligned with the nation’s priorities by keeping critical materials within the U.S. supply chain and lowering total cost of ownership for the end-user through our powder buy-back program. This is a powerful model for resilient, domestic advanced manufacturing.”
