CERAMAKER 100
Ceramaker 100 will be one of the machines distributed by 3D Matters as part of the agreement.
French 3D ceramic printing specialist, 3DCeram has announced a partnership with agreement with 3D Matters, a British additive manufacturing company.
The alignment of the two parties gives 3DCeram an entry into the UK market, while both companies are set to benefit from the other’s additive manufacturing expertise.
3D Matters works closely with its clients to produce 3D printed end-use products, as well as prototypes. The company prides itself on the fast and efficient design and manufacturing of material and objects, reducing the product design cycle, and thus time to market.
Bringing together the two company’s respective skills and knowledge, to market the Ceramaker ceramic 3D printing lines in the UK. The time-saving platform, which enables companies to produce flexible and high-performance ceramic parts, will now be easily accessible to British companies.
“This partnership between 3DCeram and 3D Matters is a new step forward for our company,” said Richard Gaignon, Co-Director of 3DCeram. “We are committed to exporting our skills to new markets, providing much-needed expertise to companies across the Channel. And by pooling our talent, we can reinforce our engineering methods, production processes, maintenance and support capabilities for maximum impact on the industry.”
Nathan Blake at 3D Matters adds: “3D Matters was seeking a partner with the technology to produce ‘high-quality matter’ components: parts with the best possible properties. Ceramic 3D printing allows us to drastically shorten the component development process and expand what we can offer in terms of other materials.
“After a period of market research, we decided to distribute 3DCeram’s products. In particular, [we will distribute] the Ceramaker ceramic printing technology, their 3DMIX pastes and their personalised support capabilities, built on more than 10 years’ experience in ceramic additive manufacturing.”
