3DGence Double
The 3DGence Double with VERBATIM PLA material.
3DGence, a Polish manufacturer of 3D printing systems, has launched the 3DGence Double, a machine equipped with a dual extruder.
The new platform will begin shipping immediately, with the company also hinting at another machine to soon follow.
Enabling the simultaneous printing of build and support materials, including water-soluble BVOH, the Double has been brought to market to deliver high-quality, detailed objects. 3DGence believes the quality of the new machine’s output distinguishes it from the rest of the market. The default settings of the printer have been tested for dimensional accuracy, ease of detaching supports and layers lamination, with the printouts ‘exceeding standards.’ Currently, the machine can support four combinations of build and support material: PLA & BVOH; PET & BVOH; PP & HIPS; and Nylon & HIPS, but is compatible with most filaments on the market if used solitarily. 3DGence has a partnership with VERBATIM, and promises more materials to be available soon.
The 3DGence Double is also equipped with a material flow control system which has independent filament sensors that allow the users to better control the printing process. It measures the quality of extrusion and can automatically detect errors and pause the print if there is set to be a material shortage. On the software side, the Double is supported by the 3DGence Slicer. Printing settings can be selected based on the expected visual quality or model durability, and the platform is said to be suitable for both beginners and advanced users alike.
With a build volume of 190 x 255 x 195 mm, the desktop platform is suitable for operation in most workspaces. It boasts interchangeable heatbeds, calibrates automatically and intelligent stepper motor controllers which ensures the machine is quiet.
