Free Software and Open Source Hardware company, Aleph Objects has partnered with filament manufacturers Polymaker and twoBEars to advance its desktop 3D printers.
Founded in January 2011, Aleph designs, develops and manufactures the LulzBot line of 3D printers, parts and plastics.
The Lulzbot 3D printing platform now supports over 30 materials for the company’s award-winning desktop 3D printers. By partnering with Polymaker and twoBEars, Aleph is confident the LulzBot 3D printers will be able to perform a much wider array of capabilities.
Recently named #1 fastest growing privately held US computer hardware company by Inc. Magazine, Aleph has singled out two high demand filament materials which it supports, namely the PolyLite PLA and PC-Max both made by Polymaker.

Meanwhile, for industrial and heavy-duty users, PC-Max boasts an unrivalled combination of material strength and ease of printing. PC-Max fulfils the promise of polycarbonate on the desktop. Customers can purchase the high-strength solution at the affordable price of $46 per 750g. The PC-Max filament material is said to be especially suited to engineers, educators and hackers. Moreover, the materials are supported by LulzBot 3D printers.
