Composer A4 and A3
Anisoprint A4 and A3 platforms.
Anisoprint’s continuous fibre 3D printing technology is now available in the United Kingdom through reseller partner iMakr.
The Russian 3D printing company will showcase its Composer series of additive manufacturing hardware for the first time in the UK at TCT Show next week. It will present two sizes of the printer: the A3, with its build volume of 420 x 297 x 210 mm and the A4, with its build area of 297 x 210 x 145 mm.
Both platforms are powered by a patent-pending process called Composite Fiber Coextrusion (CFC), which can print polymer composited reinforced with composite carbon fibre and composite basalt fibre materials. Companies to have purchased the technology include BMW, Brightlands Materials Center, and Schunk Carbon Technology, the latter of which has harnessed CFC to produce custom tools and demonstrator models.
Anisoprint is now looking to get its technology in the hands of UK manufacturers and ahead of its appearance at TCT Show has announced iMakr as a reseller in the region. The company has worked on both sides of the Atlantic distributing 3D printing and 3D scanning technology on behalf of the likes of EnvisionTEC, DWS and Artec3D. It now takes on Anisoprint’s flagship product.
“3D innovation is at the heart of every product we offer at iMakr, so the fibre co-extrusion technology that drives the Anisoprint Composer was something we absolutely had to test. Needless to say, we were impressed,” commented Eric Savant, CEO of iMakr. “We believe Anisoprint’s approach to fibre 3D printing on the desktop is superior to anything else we’ve seen on the market, let alone with this large print size.”
Anisoprint will exhibit on Stand #G89 TCT Show between September 24th – 26th at the NEC in Birmingham and is also up for a TCT Award in the Non-polymer hardware category.
