Prodways Group has announced Dental Crafters, an American dental service laboratory, is offering a highly-accurate model 3D printing service using its ProMaker L5000 D platform.
Since 1989, Dental Crafters has offered a full range of restorative products including, crowns fixed and removable denture products, and surgical planning and surgical drill guides helping its customers to better prepare for and better implement the insertion of dental implants. Always looking to improve its services, the company has sought to adopt 3D printing technology.
Keeping up with the digital age, Dental Crafters has deployed Prodways 3D printing technology, aiming to transform its production processes and deliver high-precision dental models to its customer base. The decision was taken after a phase of testing, which saw models manufactured on multiple 3D printing platforms in an external dental lab.
“While searching for the ideal printer for our 3D model printing needs, we wanted to stay true to our high-quality standards,” said Brad Slominski, co-owner of Dental Crafters. “As a result, Dental Crafters chose the ProMaker L5000 D by Prodways Group for two simple reasons, high volume and precise accuracy sustained over time.
“With our internal testing we found that the Prodways machine consistently produced an accurate product regardless of volume, surpassing other machines on the market. With the Prodways ProMaker L5000 D we can consistently print 60 quadrant models per day, maintaining accuracy print after print.”
The ProMaker L5000 D has been specifically developed for the dental industry and runs on Prodways’ MOVINGLight technology which sees the polymerisation of photosensitive resins using Digital Light Processing UV rays. It is said to deliver a combination of high resolutions and fast throughput, and boasts a granite build platform which further supports the quick and stable production of parts.
“In this growing digital world, Dental Crafters takes pride in staying on the cutting edge of technology while maintaining our commitment to excellence,” added Slominski. “The decision to purchase the ProMaker L5000 D for our model printing services, allows us to continue this strong tradition.”
