EMS, a single source provider of 3D scanning and 3D printing technologies, has announced it has signed formal reseller agreements with HP and Rize.
Through these new partnerships, EMS, a leading reseller in the Southeast of the United States, will see the company distribute both manufacturers’ 3D printing systems to Florida and the surrounding regions – EMS is HP’s sole authorised reseller in Florida.
On June 27th, EMS will host an Open House in Tampa, which will feature demonstrations of HP’s Jet Fusion 3D 4200 printer and Rize’s Rize One platform, as well as other 3D technologies from its other clients. A champion of 3D technologies, EMS is not only well placed to serve both HP and Rize, but is also looking forward to the prospect of working with the respective companies.
“Businesses need a new and better way to develop and manufacture products and we are excited to see such great potential in the future of 3D printing,” said Mark Kemper, CEO, EMS. “These two companies are leading a revolution in manufacturing with some of the most advanced 3D printing innovations available today.
“Adding HP’s Jet Fusion 3D printing portfolio and the Rize One 3D printers to our line of 3D printing technologies will enable us to offer more diverse and cost-effective solutions to all of our customers.”

EMS believes its new partners are leading the way in the 3D printing market, as its continued progression sees it transform from a purely prototyping tool, to a volume manufacturing technology. HP’s Jet Fusion 3D 4200 platform was designed with exactly that in mind, looking to save the manufacturer time and money, while preserving quality.
Meanwhile, the Rize One does away with lengthy post-processing requirements thanks to its Augmented Polymer Deposition (APD) technology, and promises to produce strong, isotropic, watertight parts. Rize has noted EMS’ repute and performance in the reselling of 3D technologies, and thus saw the alignment of the two companies an obvious move.
“We are delighted to partner with EMS,” said Julie Reece, vice president of marketing and channel relations, Rize Inc. “Known for their deep 3D printing expertise and committed customer support, EMS shares our vision to provide their customers with the most versatile industrial-class 3D printers for on-demand access to injection-moulded-quality parts.”
