Leading manufacturer and distributor of patented 3D rapid prototyping and manufacturing solutions EnvisionTEC has announced the appointment of its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
The company revealed that Brian Gibson has joined the EnvisionTEC family as its new CFO after an extensive search for qualified candidates, as his background and credentials are lined up perfectly with the needs of a high-profile company within the burgeoning 3D printing market.
Mr Gibson brings more than 13 years of finance and accounting experience to EnvisionTEC. His most recent experience includes over three years as Vice-President of Finance at Aastrom Biosciences, a publicly traded biotech company in Ann Arbor, where he served as the acting CFO. Prior to Aastrom, Mr Gibson was a senior manager at PwC working primarily with public manufacturing and service companies. Mr Gibson holds a BA in Accounting with high honor from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University and is a certified public accountant.
